Sophie Beall, M.D., Academic Director of Maharishi Vedic University and specialised in Public Health • Her interest focused on the integration of modern medicine with systems of natural health • Her training in Ayurveda, began in 1981in India and continued in Europe under the guidance of some of the leading experts in Ayurveda • She worked for five years as an intern doctor at the Hopital Universitaire de Toulouse, France, and she wrote her thesis in Public Health on ”The Reduction of Health Care Costs Through Ayurveda.
   
alt Philippe Mercanton, DSCI,  is the Administrative Director of Maharishi University of Vedic Medicine, a naturopath, practitioner of Maharishi Ayurveda, and teacher of Transcendental Meditation in Geneva • Since 25 years he is actively promoting Maharishi Vedic Science, giving Maharishi Ayurveda consultations, running courses and seminars in Switzerland.

   
Vaidya Kalyan Chakravarthy, M.D., In the year 2002 he had completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Ayur-Veda (BAMS) from the Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Ayurveda College in Tamil Nadu, India • In the year 2005 he completed his medical study with the degree of M.D. Herbalist (Dravyaguna) from an esteemed S.D.M. Ayurveda College in Karnataka, India • From 2005 to 2008 he was working as Vaidya in Dr. Raju’s Institute of Ayurveda Panchakarma Clinic, Hyderabad, India • At the same time he was visiting physician to several Asian countries like Sri Lanka, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and organizing Panchakarma Clinics, delivering lectures and giving consultations.
   
Dr. Charlotte Bech, M.D., Doctor of the Science of Creative Intelligence and teacher of Transcendental Meditation •  She has previously worked in the area of hematology at the most renowned hospital in Denmark, has specialized in Maharishi Ayurveda and Vedic Medicine since 1983, and written a thesis on prevention and treatment of cancer in Maharishi Ayurveda • She is currently running a private clinic in Copenhagen Denmark with emphasis on prevention and development of consciousness, giving courses for medical doctors on prevention, being a columnist in several national magazines on ayurvedic topics, and author of a book on Maharishi Ayurveda, and is Vice President for the European Ayurveda Medical Association (EURAMA) • She has taught at the medical school in Copenhagen for several years.
   
Dr. Ernst Schrott, M.D., Regensburg, Germany, is specialised in Natural Medicine and primarily in Maharishi Ayurveda • He is the Vice President of the German Association of Ayurveda, founder and Director of the German Ayurveda Academy and Secretary of the European Ayurveda Medical Association (EURAMA) • Dr. Schrott is the author many articles and of a number of books and bestsellers on Maharishi Ayurveda and Transcendental Meditation.
   
Dr. Wolfgang Schachinger, M.D., runs his own Maharishi Ayurveda medical practice including Panchakarma, has 25 years experience in Maharishi Ayurveda • He is the board member of several Ayurveda associations and is the conducting advanced trainings in Maharishi Ayurveda for medical doctors • He is the author of several Ayurveda books.
   
Dr. Oliver, M.D., received his medical doctorate from the University of Berne, Switzerland in 1978 • From 1977 – 1981 he conducted research on higher states of consciousness at Maharishi European Research University, Seelisberg, Switzerland • In 1979 he began to study Ayurveda under the auspices of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and leading Ayurvedic scholars such as Dr. V.M. Dwivedi, Dr. B.D. Triguna, Dr. Balraj Maharishi and others • In the years 1979 – 1985 he also travelled extensively teaching and lecturing • In 1987 he founded the Maharishi Ayurveda Health Centre Seelisberg and Maharishi Ayurveda Products Seelisberg, where he worked extensively in the following years.
   
Dr. Roswitha Margarete Geelvink-Tradel, Dipl. Psych., received her Diploma in Psychology from University of Munich in 1971 • She became Teacher of Transcendental Meditation Technique in 1974, received her Master of the Science of Creative Intelligence (MSCI) from Maharishi European Research University Switzerland in 1979, and became Doctor of Science in Aromatherapy (honoris causa) from Maharishi University of Enlightenment USA in  2007 •
Since 1982 she is involved into research on consciousness, and into study of aromatherapy as one of the 20 aspects of Maharishi Ayurveda, including research of the properties and applications of essential oils, their classification in ayurvedic terms and their use according to traditional medicine throughout the ages.
   
Graziella Bensi, Ph.D., received in 1972 her Ph.D. in pharmacy and worked in this field for 33 years • In 1988 she became teacher of Transcendental Meditation • In 1994 she did a complete training in Ayurveda pulse diagnosis, followed by a training in Panchakarma administration • At that time she had the opportunity to work with Dr. Raju, a leading Ayurvedic scholar, when he visited Italy • In 1999 she became Panchakarma technician, and in 2000 trainer for Panchakarma technicians.
   
Claude Newell-Lesslauer, M.A. in Sanskrit, University of Lausanne, Switzerland, 2001• Being interested in the Vedic tradition, after completing her studies in cultural anthropology and ethnomusicology at the University of Basel, Switzerland (M.A. in 1995), she started studying Sanskrit in 1995, and became a teacher of Transcendental Meditation in 1998 • Sanskrit teaching experience with groups and private classes ; regular TM-instruction courses, residence, and advanced courses in Geneva, Berne, and Seelisberg, Switzerland.
   
  Yvette Jardin, DSCI, is a naturopath who has more then 20 years experience in the practice of Maharishi Ayurveda and in the teaching of Transcendental Meditation • From 1991 to 1998 she worked as the manager, consultant/health adviser, and therapist, in the MAV Health Center in Seelisberg • She now has her own practice in Basel, and is actively promoting Maharishi Vedic Science, giving Maharishi Ayurveda consultations and running courses.
