Whether expert or beginner, this course provides the most authentic and profound understanding and practice of yoga asanas.
 
This course, structured in detail by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, founder of the Transcendental Meditation technique, includes new asana instruction not previously taught in any other course. The course provides deep insight into the correct and effortless practice of yoga asanas and how each pose can help create balance and well-being. It includes detailed instruction in each asana, the specific physiological benefit that can be gained from each asana, and the subtle technique of doing asanas properly.
 
The course is led by Paul Morehead, Ph.D., Co-chair of MUM’s Department of Physiology and Health. Dr. Morehead will hold several live webinars providing question and answer opportunities for course participants. The course provides a wonderful opportunity to gain complete understanding of this program designed to create balance in the entire physiology.

 

Course structure:
Each of the 16 lessons in this self-paced online course includes a lecture, detailed demonstrations of each posture, in-depth explanation of the benefit of each posture and additional self-study options.
